As the cast of Friends kick off the promotional run for the highly-anticipated reunion, Courteney Cox has blessed us with her favourite scene - and safe to say it's iconic.

Courteney sat down for an interview for the American morning TV show Good Morning America on Tuesday alongside co-stars Jennifer Aniston, Matthew Perry, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer and Matt LeBlanc.

They were all asked to name their favourite moments from the cult '90s sitcom, with Courteney naming Monica and Ross' infamous dance routine in the season six episode 'The One With The Routine'.

Check out a clip from the interview below:

The episode takes place on New Year's Eve and sees Joey's girlfriend Janine invite the gang to come along to a taping of Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve.

As fans will remember, super fans Monica and Ross are desperate to have be on telly but have to dance on the platform to do so - so they pull out all the stops and put on what is now known amongst fans as 'The Routine' - a cringeworthy dance they performed done since they were kids.

Dropping on Thursday, Friends: The Reunion will see the original cast members reminisce about the most iconic moments from their time on the beloved sitcom, and will also feature a host of A-List guest stars.
