'ChuckleVision' Has Been Named Greatest CBBC Series Of All Time
The show was known for its slapstick humour - as well as Paul and Barry Chuckle's infamous "to me, to you" catchphrase, of course.
The long-running series has now been crowned the greatest CBBC series ever in a poll conducted by Radio Times - with The Story Of Tracy Beaker and Dick And Dom In Da Bungalow following in second and third place.
Other shows in the top ten include Horrible Histories, The Sarah Jane Adventures, Blue Peter, Byker Grove, Grange Hill, Maid Marian And Her Merry Men, and The Demon Headmaster.
The new poll comes days after CBBC's official Twitter faced backlash on social media for posting a meme that placed many of its popular shows into tiers; 'Legend Tier', 'Top Tier', 'Mid Tier' and 'Hmmm Tier'.
The ranking caused Twitter to descend in a heated debate as many (including Paul Chuckle) couldn't believe ChuckleVision was placed in the 'Mid Tier'.
At the time, DJ Greg James responded: "Delete your account for not giving ChuckleVision a god-like tier of its own. The BBC would have died without that show..."
Speaking about the results of the new poll, Paul told the magazine that he was delighted that viewers got to have their say following the furore last week.
The TV icon shared: "I am thrilled that an injustice has been corrected and I would like to thank everyone over all platforms of social media who got involved.
"In the words of me and Barry (changed a little) 'From me - to you'. Thank you as you have all helped put ChuckleVision where it belongs, at number one!"
Finally, the wrongs of the tier system have been righted!
