It's beginning to look a lot like...oh wait?

During the coronavirus outbreak, it feels like the world has officially gone a bit mad - we're looking at you stockpiling shoppers fighting over loo roll.

And now our suspicions have been confirmed, it has - because TV channel Hallmark is now showing a CHRISTMAS movie marathon.

That's right, it has begun airing some its festive favourites and you can watch the likes of The Christmas Cottage to Christmas in Rome and A Shoe Addict's Christmas.

Of course being a US channel, you will need to be able to access US TV, or be based in America to watch them, but if you do, then the schedule is jam-packed with cheesy Christmassy goodies.

Hell it might be mad, but maybe a festive film is what we need to cheer us all up?

The channel is showing Christmas movies on 20th, 21st and 22nd March (

The channel's decision to air the seasonal movies comes as much of the world is socially distancing or in government enforced lockdowns and staying home.

And we have to admit, we're big fans of The Christmas Cottage. It's all about Lacey Quinn who is in her mid-twenties and having had her heartbroken one too many times has given up on love.

Lacey finds herself snowed in to her best friend's family cottage whilst decorating it ready for her pal's honeymoon and luckily, legend has it that the cottage can help you on your way to true love and everlasting happiness. Will she get her happily ever after?

Pure cheese - but the kind of easy and restoring our faith kind of watch we need RN whilst stuck at home.

We all need to do our bit to slow the spread of coronavirus, so movie marathons will come in handy to keep us occupied at home. If that means watching a ton of Christmas films in March to stop us from climbing the walls, then so be it!

Someone pass us the popcorn.
