Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina's Kiernan Shipka Wants To Do A Riverdale Crossover
The 21-year-old, who has played the titular Sabrina Spellman in the series revival, is longing for the characters from The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina to drop in on the folk over at Riverdale, with the two shows sharing the same universe.
The hugely popular Riverdale, which stars Lili Reinhart and Cole Sprouse amongst others, is gearing up for its fifth season - scheduled to air on American network The CW in January next year.
And Kiernan thinks Sabrina would feel right at home in the new spooky surroundings.
"Honestly, I just think Riverdale could use a witch," she said in a recent interview with Comic Book Resources.
"They're going through a ton of stuff and they need some celestial whatever kind of vibes! They need a bit of extra power, they need someone who knows reincarnation, necromancy.

"They need that in their world and, I don't know, I just think it would be a fun world if the two collided at some point."
The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa previously teased a crossover with Riverdale was originally in the works should they have been commissioned for a fifth season.
Roberto wrote on Twitter: "Part Five, 'Witch War,' would've been AMAZING," before attaching a shot of the comic book which declares: "The witches of Riverdale are coming."
But fear not, Sabrina fans...the fourth season, available on Netflix on New Year's Eve, looks to be equally amazing.
The official synopsis explains: "The Eldritch Terrors descend upon Greendale [and] the coven must fight each terrifying threat one-by-one (The Weird, The Returned, The Darkness to name a few), all leading up to... The Void, which is the End of All Things.
"As the witches wage war, with the help of The Fright Club, Nick begins to slowly earn his way back into Sabrina's heart, but will it be too late?"
Looks like we've got our NYE plans sorted!
