It feels like forever since it was announced that Matt Lucas would be officially replacing Sandi Toksvig as the host on the new series of The Great British Bake Off, but if Channel 4's newly-released official pictures are anything to go by, it looks like the Little Britain star is fitting in just peachy.
Shot alongside Paul Hollywood, Prue Leith and Noel Fielding - who will all be retuning for the 2020 series - Matt shows off his unusual baking skills by expertly balancing a cake on top of his head and we are totally here for it.
As always, Noel can be seen sporting one of his signature patterned shirts, while Prue and Paul look as scrumptious as ever, obvs.
Speaking about the exciting new gig, Matt has said: "I'm chuffed to bits to be joining the most delicious show on television.
"I can't wait to break bread with Noel, Prue [Leith] and Paul [Hollywood] and meet the brilliant bakers. And bearing in mind my love of cake, I've already ordered some much larger trousers in anticipation. See you in the tent!"
The photos have been released just short of a month since the 11th season wrapped up filming after it was delayed following the coronavirus pandemic. At the start of August, a tweet from the show's official Twitter feed read: 'Filming has wrapped on the new series of The Great British Bake Off. More news soon...'

Welcoming Matt to the team, Noel said: "I love Matt. I love his warmth and his comedy and his big joyful smile. I think if we play our cards right we could become the next Chas and Morph."
While Paul Hollywood chipped in: "I'm a genuine fan of Matt's, it is such great news he will be joining us in the tent, he's a fantastic addition to the team."
Prue Leith added: "The combination of Matt Lucas and Noel Fielding! Will we stop laughing and get any filming done?"

If there's one thing that's certain, Matt has some pretty big shoes to fill. But we're sure he's going to be amazing!
