In what can only be described as one of the saddest moments of the series, Married At First Sight Australia star Mark Scrivens dumped his partner Ning Surasiang at the 'altar' during their final vows.
Mark and Ning met on their wedding day at the start of Married at First Sight season six - which was filmed in 2018, aired in Australia the following year and is currently appearing on UK screens at present.
The couple had a rollercoaster time on the show and frequently hit rough patches in their relationship - fans will remember that Ning didn't trust Mark at first, and he had to work extra hard to encourage Ning to let her guard down.

And it appears that Mark just couldn't get over their issues ahead of their final ceremony, despite real feelings having developed.
The scene - which one viewer on Twitter said was 'hard to watch - began with mum-of-three Ning sharing her affection for Mark, revealing she wanted them to stay together as a couple despite their issues.
'I'm saying yes to you, yes to us and yes to continuing our journey together,' she said.
However, Ning was left devastated when Mark confessed he wanted to end their partnership.

Mark said: "Ning I came on here to find love but I haven't found it with you. Even though my feelings for you are strong, I don't see these feelings being strong enough to survive after this experiment ends.
"And they aren't strong enough to ask you to move your entire life and three children to another city for me.
"In you I have found an awesome person that I respect, admire, adore. This has been one of the most..."

Ning interrupted his speech and declared: "Just stop. This is bullsh*t."
"I really like you, I really do," Mark insisted. "I just wasn't getting enough confidence from you. This decision has been one of the hardest decisions I've ever had to make."
Ning said: "I didn't find love with you, Mark, but I wanted to give it a go. You should've let me go at week three.
"You're selfish because you kept me around for another week, to get here and humiliate me. I'm done, Mark."

Another shocked fan said: "Ning and Mark omg that was hard to watch".
A third person added: "Didn't expect that to happen really wanted Mark and Ning to work. Wish Ning had shown how she felt earlier."
While a fourth shared: "You can tell Mark has been a bachelor for way too long. He needs to work on himself a little more also before he is able to truly let someone in and unfortunate for Ning, he's not quite there yet".
Married At First Sight Australia airs weeknights at 8.30pm on E4.
