Sky Drama 'Bulletproof' Is Returning For A Second Series Next Month

Sky Drama 'Bulletproof' Is Returning For A Second Series Next Month

If you are a big fan of TV show Bulletproof, you'll be pleased to hear there's less than a month to wait for Series 2 to drop and we've now had a sneak peek at the next instalment.

On March 20th, Bulletproof is set to return to Sky with its second action-packed TV series and both Noel Clarke and Ashley Walters will reprise their roles as buddied up comedic cops Bishop and Pike.

The next instalment of eight episodes will see the National Crime Agency detectives go undercover to infiltrate an international crime empire - and Sky has now released a clip of the pair in action from episode one and they look as badass and hilarious as ever.

Their quest for justice will see them risk everything (including their police badges) to succeed but doing so as best pals who have each other's backs and in their usual funny fashion.

Whilst they are still tighter than ever, the pair have certainly been impacted after some of last year's testing cases.

They were left picking up the pieces - especially Pike whose daughter was kidnapped. Naturally, his wife is now more concerned over his career choice than ever.

But it won't just be family bonds that will be tested, so will the pair's policing skills and their moral codes too when lines become blurred between friends and foes as they play a game of cat and mouse with a notorious and elusive Greek-Cypriot criminal family.

Sounds like the pair will be tested to their limits, and to top things off, Ashley has confirmed that there will be more stunts to keep us gripped in series 2.

He said in an interview with Sky: "One of our main things for this season was to up the stunts and the action aspect but also to match that with the drama and the character-based work that we do as well."

He added: "Main thing for me was just to make sure that the action and the way we shoot the stunts and how the stunts look are right up there. We've really pushed it."

It certainly sounds gripping, but Sky also promises it will be packed "full of Bulletproof humour" too. Thankfully. We can't wait for it to drop.

Sky Original Bulletproof Series 2 will land on Sky One and NOW TV on March 20th.
