Britain's Got Talent dancer Tobi Green-Adenowo is the latest romantic hopeful to sign up to Channel dating show The Undateables.

Tobi, who lives with osteogenesis imperfecta which causes brittle bones, has been chasing her dreams as a professional dancer but now she is looking for love.

The condition means that her bones are easily broken, often by just rolling over in bed or coughing - she'd broken more than 75 by just age 18.

After her BGT stint, Tobi, who uses a wheelchair, became a dance teacher for children with special needs but says she still hasn't found the confidence to date.

Tobi hopes to find love on the Channel 4 show.

She said: "I had managed to achieve so many dreams but I still hadn't found the courage to go on a proper date.

"I'm no different from any other girl. I want to find someone to spend the rest of my life with, have a family. But up until then I had been scared to go on dates with guys.

"One day I said, 'This can't go on'. Two of my friends had taken part in the show, so I decided to apply. I'm so glad I did. I can't say too much but it went really well."

Tobi spent her childhood in and out of care, growing up in 15 foster homes as social workers believed her mum was causing the injuries from her condition.

But she didn't let that hold her back, adding: "I always dreamed of being a dancer but with my condition most people didn't give me a chance. But it also helped build my character. I refused to believe I couldn't do something.

"I realised the more I danced, the less bones I broke, the muscles around my bones were stronger. So dance helped me cope with my condition too."

Speaking of her role as a dance teacher, Tobi continued: "I'm not only passing on my skills but what I've learned about not giving up on your dreams, that as someone with disabilities you need to be determined.

"I teach them everything is possible."

The Undateables airs on Channel 4 at 9pm tonight.
