Regé-Jean plays Simon Bassett in the series and a scene involving the character seductively licking a spoon has given fans all the feels.

The official Bridgerton tweeted a GIF from the scene in question and Twitter has gone wild.

One person responded to tweet with: "That spoon will be talked about for a very long time. And it will be in many dreams/fantasies as well"

Two people began to fantasise what it would be like to be the spoon. One user said: "To be that spoon... " alongside a GIF of Blanche from The Golden Girls spritzing herself with water.

The other said: "Oh to be that spoon." We're sure many people can relate.

A third person concurred: "That's one lucky spoon". We couldn't agree more!

Another viewer claimed the scene from which the spoon licking scene is from is their favourite from the entire show.

One viewer simply responded with a meme of Kylie Jenner holding her pregnant belly. Memes do speak a thousand words, don't they!

This year has been an incredibly difficult one for all of us but for some, this scene made them forget about 2020. "This scene almost made me forget it was still 2020," said one delighted viewer.

Another person declared: "I... wanna be a spoon"

A third added: "That tongue action tho".

This tweet sums up all the feels perfectly. "Watching Daphne thirsting over Simon licking a spoon and rolling up his sleeves is a literal mood. Same, Daphne, same," the Twitter user said, and we couldn't agree more.
