Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul have sent Breaking Bad fans into a frenzy after they shared the same picture of two donkeys on Twitter, leading many to believe a film version of the hit series is on the way.
The actors played Walter White and Jesse Pinkman in the critically-acclaimed AMC show about a struggling chemistry teacher, who turns to a life of crime by selling crystal meth.
And on Tuesday 25 June, the pair mysteriously shared an identical tweet, which featured a close-up image of two donkeys and captioned it: "Soon".
The social media posts caused excited fans to speculate that the tweet could be a sign of a movie-related project, with one sharing: "Is that for breaking bad movie?!!!!"

"Breaking bad movie??? HYPEEEEEE," another wrote. "If this is a Breaking Bad movie, I'm as crapping my pants in excitement."
A fourth fan pondered a possible plot: "It's the sequel film of Breaking Bad. Yes, Cranston will return too. We don't know if in flashback or a sort of a ghost that torments Jessy mind."
Another commented: "Donkey is a Mule... Drug Mules... Heisenberg is back."
Breaking Bad ran for five seasons from 2008 to 2013 and is widely considered one of the greatest TV series of all time.
The show won 16 Emmy Awards and two Golden Globes and inspired a spin-off series, Better Call Saul.

While fans (and us) get into a frenzy trying to figure out what their tweets mean, Website Revenge of the Fans reported last year that the pair would return for the Vince Gilligan-helmed film, which began filming in Albuquerque in November 2018.
Other cast members reportedly attached to the film project at the time, which had the working title Greenbrier, include Jonathan Banks (Mike), Jesse Plemons (Todd), Charles Baker (Skinny Pete), Matt Jones (Badger), Robert Forster (Ed, aka The Disappearer), Tess Harper (Mrs. Pinkman), and Kevin Rankin (Kenny).
The Albuquerque Journal has reported that the two-hour feature film will "track the escape of a kidnapped man and his quest for freedom" and that Jesse Pinkman (played by Aaron Paul) will be the "kidnapped man" in question.

Discussing the prospect of a movie, Brian admitted that he was open to returning - but said he was not sure if he would be in it after the demise of his character at the end of the sixth series.
"If Vince Gilligan asked me to do it, sure, absolutely. He's a genius," Cranston said on The Dan Patrick Show.
"It's a great story, and there's a lot of people who felt that they wanted to see some sort of completion to some of these storylines that were left open."
