It's been six years since the smash hit series Breaking Bad wrapped for the final time - but fans of the cult AMC show can get their Jesse Pinkman fix once again as El Camino has landed on Netflix.

The Breaking Bad spin-off movie arrived on the streaming service at 8am on Friday, 11th October - and no doubt they'll be several people calling into work 'sick' in a bid to binge it.

The flick, which is possibly one of the biggest cinematic events of the year, was first teased back in June when the show's stars Bryan Cranston (who played Walter White) and Aaron Paul (who plays Jesse) shared the same picture of two donkeys on Twitter.

A month later, Netflix shared the first clip of the movie, a minute-long snippet showing Skinny Pete being brought in for questioning about Jesse's whereabouts, where the meth cooker's ally refuses to give up his friend.

While the trailers have so far been incredibly coy, they do suggest that El Camino is going to start right where the Breaking Bad series left off.

Breaking Bad, which ran from 2008 to 2013, followed the story of Walter White - a high school chemistry teacher - who turned to manufacturing methamphetamine to secure his family's future after a devastating lung cancer diagnosis.

Last month Breaking Bad fans were left convinced that Walter White is still alive after the first full trailer for El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie was released last month.

The official teaser followed a bruised and battered Jesse (Aaron Paul) on the run after breaking out of prison.

After turning up at a shocked Skinny Pete's door, he cleaned the wounds inflicted on him by his former neo-Nazi captors and shaves his head much like his late business partner Walter.

Now one of American's most wanted criminals, Jesse is seen arriving at Tohajiilee Navajo reservation, where he and Walt first cooked meth together.

Digging something up, Jesse met with a mysterious man who is carrying a gun and can be heard off screen asking: "Are you ready?", to which Jesse replies that he is.

The flick begins right after the 'Breaking Bad' series left off.

Fans of the hit series were quick to speculate online that the mystery voice belongs to Walter, who many believed had died at the end of the TV series.

Taking to Twitter, one die-hard fan wrote: "WALTER WHITE IS ALIVE! #elcamino watch new trailer on Netflix with subtitles on!#breakingbad."

"Anybody hyped about #ElCamino like is Walter White gonna turn out to be alive?" another lamented.

A third shared: "I just watched the new trailer for the @BreakingBad movie, #ElCamino and its implied that Walter White may be alive. How could this be?"

Fans are convinced that Walter White will make an appearance.

And Reddit users appeared to agree after the trailer's subtitles placed Walter's name beside the line "Are you ready?" which was changed to "man". SUSPICIOUS.

Despite this, some viewers suggested that Jesse could have be hallucinating, or the exchange could have been a flashback due to a broadcast playing in the background while Jesse sat in his car, which revealed that police were investigating the casualties from a huge shootout.

It claimed that nine bodies had been located, and since there were eight gang members in Breaking Bad's final shootout, it's possible Walter was the ninth.
