Bravo has just dropped the first official teaser for Dirty John, a drama based on true-crime podcast series Los Angeles Times and it's seriously creepy.

Eric Bana will play John Meehan who at first comes across as a pleasant fella, but turns out to be quite sinister, taking advantage of single mum Debra Newell, a wealthy interior designer played by Connie Britton, who falls for

If the drama is anywhere near as good as the podcast then we're in for a treat, and the teaser trailer certainly doesn't disappoint...

In the teaser, John says: "I feel like I was blind before I saw you...

"Like I've never loved anyone before I knew you."

As he continues, it transpires that he's just practising a script until he gets it right and while he looks friendly, you get the sense he's definitely not a guy that you'd want to hang around for long.

"He could happen to you," the show teases.

In the second teaser, all we see is the words Love, Lies, Hope, Hate, Family, Fear, True Terror...

Executive producer, Jefferey Reiner, told Vanity Fair: "It's all about, 'Who is John?'. . . We go back in time [and include] things that were not necessarily in the podcast."

In the making of the series, Connie revealed she spent a lot of time with the real-life victim, Debra, telling the publication: "We actually spent a good deal of time together. It's helping to give so much insight into the story in a way that maybe we weren't able to experience in the podcast."
