Bookies Slash Odds On Ruth Jones Being Surprise I'm A Celebrity Guest

I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! crashed back onto TV screens last night live from its new location in North Wales, pulling in a peak of 12 million viewers as Ant and Dec returned to screens.

And while fans are loving the brand new 2020 lineup - made up of AJ Pritchard, Mo Farah and Giovanna Fletcher, among others - bookies are already flocking to predict who will be joining them as a late arrival in Gwrych Castle.

Yep, Paddy Power have been busy working out who could be landing on the ITV show next.

And they've tipped Gavin and Stacey Nessa star Ruth Jones as the favourite, with odds of 6/4 to make a surprise entrance to the castle, which is in her home country of Wales.

These odds have changed from 3/1 last week, making her a sure fire front-runner.

Meanwhile, Russell Watson and Ruthie Henshall are also in the running. Plus, former campmates Joey Essex and Vicky Pattison are expected to make a comeback in some capacity, according to bookies.

Comedian Miranda Hart and Vinnie Jones both have 3/1 odds of landing in the Jungle this year, to.

A spokesman for Paddy Power explained why these celebs were coming out on top.

"With travel restrictions limiting the chances of a Hollywood star joining the castle this year, producers might need to look more locally for some inspiration - and we think Ruth Jones is a 'tidy' option.

"From pigs' anuses to fisheyes, there are always some interesting items on the menu during the show... and we all know Vinnie Jones likes a big tackle."
