Blue Members Tricked Into Believing Simon Is Dead In Cruelest Prank Of All Time

Blue Members Tricked Into Believing Simon Is Dead In Cruelest Prank Of All Time

Remembering the most heartless prank to ever take place.

Can we please have a moment for quite possibly the cruelest prank to ever take place?

Back in 2013, the boys from Blue had their trousers well and truly pulled down by prankster Ben Hanlin on his ITV show Tricked - and on reflection it should be up there in the heartless prank hall of fame.

The boys were tricked into thinking their bandmate Simon Webbe (who was in on the prank) had met a grisly death falling off a cliff inside a caravan. All for sh*ts and giggles.

Lee Ryan, Duncan James and Anthony Costa thought they were headed to the countryside for a photoshoot but instead they got way more than they'd bargained for.

Hanlin, posing as a runner on the shoot, pretended to accidentally spill some water on Simon, who then took off to the set caravan to get a change of clothes.

As this happened, the boys continued with their shoot. When, all of a sudden, the caravan begins rolling down the hill and eventually OFF THE CLIFF, supposedly with Simon and the runner inside.

As you can imagine, the bandmates lose their sh*t and begin chasing the caravan down the hill before falling to their knees in despair when it went off.

Well do you blame them? They thought their best mate had just died.

Not long after (thankfully), Ben and Simon jump out from a haystack very much alive - to the palpable relief of their bandmates.

Lee - who is still absolutely shaken by the whole ordeal, and is practically in tears - remains on the ground, and Simon runs over to comfort him.

Eventually, he chases his band mate and finds the whole thing funny, but there were a few tense moments.

Can we also talk about how CLOSE the Blue boys were to the cliff edge as they went to chase after them? Now that would have been a twist.

Don't try this at home, kids. April Fools or not.
