People Have Already Binged Netflix's 'Never Have I Ever' And Want A New Series ASAP

Mindy Kaling's new show, Never Have I Ever was released on Netflix earlier this month and ever since, fans have been asking for a Season 2.

Thousands took to Twitter to reveal they'd binge-watched the entire series in one go, with several watching all 10 episodes in one sitting.

If you're yet to see it, here's a recap on the plot.

The series - which is created and produced by Mindy Kaling - focuses on the complicated life of teenager, Devi Vishwakumar (played by newcomer Maitreyi Ramakrishnan).

It follows Devi in her sophomore year of high school as she navigates friends, family and romance and specifically, the huge crush she has on classmate, Paxton.

On her first day of sophomore, she arrives at her high school where she's joined by her best mates Eleanor (Ramona Young) and Fabiola (Lee Rodriguez). She tells them sophomore year will be "their year" and announces she's come up with a "re-branding plan" to make them 'cool'.

Despite the best intentions, Devi has a short fuse and ends up getting into all kinds of difficult and awkward situations, all the while trying to navigate and process the usual trials and tribulations of teenage life.

Newcomer Maitreyi Ramakrishnan bagged the star role after hearing about the casting call on Mindy's social media. Having only acted in stage productions, the 17-year-old beat 15,000 other hopefuls for the part of Devi after having two auditions for the role. So cool.

It kind of reminds us of a mix between Sex Education and Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging - so if you're into those, it's definitely a winner.

And you'll definitely need to catch up, because if fans get their way there'll hopefully be a Season 2 to look forward to.

One wrote on Twitter: "Ok but Never Have I Ever on Netflix is so cute I love it & will be p***ed if they don't bring it back."

While another said: Never Have I Ever was such a great show and the casting @mindykaling can't wait for more!!!!"






One fan added: "Just finished never have I ever on Netflix and I'm so in love I already want s2."

Another simply wrote: "I NEED SEASON 2 now".

Come on Netflix, give the fans what they want!
