This is a PSA for all '90s kids: CBBC is reviving The Demon Headmaster, with a modern twist. And 20 years on we're still quaking in our school shoes.
First broadcast between 1996 and 1998, The Demon Headmaster starred Terrence Hardiman as the titular villain.

Terrence's iconic performance as the Demon Headmaster in the classic CBBC show was terrifyingly convincing for a young audience.
But now a new 10-part CBBC series will scare a new generation of school kids, both entertaining and scaring them out of their wits about whether they are being hypnotised by their teachers.
Each 30-minute episode follows the story of a group of mismatched children at an academy school as they come to the realisation that the Super Head is hypnotising his students to gain control of the school.
But they have to work out how to fight an antagonist who manipulates their every move.
Terrence has previously confessed he'd love to see how a new generation would react to his spooky character.
He told the Radio Times magazine: "I have very happy memories of working on The Demon Headmaster in the nineties," he confessed. "And what fun to play such a megalomaniac!
"[Fans'] most frequent question was, 'How did you do that with your eyes?' I wonder how a new generation will react.
"I wish every success to the new production. I expect to be totally hypnotised."
Yeh, but seriously though. How did you do that with your eyes?
The new series is adapted from Gillian Cross's new book 'Demon Headmaster Total Control' by award-winning screen writer Emma Reeves, and will air on CBBC and BBC iPlayer.
The complete series of The Demon Headmaster is available to buy on DVD at Amazon. It's yet to be announced when the new series will drop.
In other kid's TV news, the BBC has also revealed plans to bring back Crackerjack after 35 years off the air.
Like the original, the entertainment show will feature comedy, magic and interaction with the live studio audience.
Presenting duo Sam Nixon and Mark Rhodes will host the rebooted show on Fridays, and all ten 45-minute episodes will be available to watch on CBBC and iPlayer.
