With Killing Eve returning to our screens for Season 3 in a matter of weeks, BBC has been releasing teaser images and clips for the last couple of months.

And now, they've treated fans by dropping an extra *two* promo shots from the upcoming series - although not everyone is impressed.

Taking to Twitter last week, BBC teased fans by telling them when the trailer was dropping.

On Thursday, they tweeted: "Not long now" alongside a video reading: "Tomorrow".

Fans were sure this was indication the trailer would be dropping the following day, but instead, the show hinted that the trailer had been delayed.

"It happens. Plans change. Here's a gift for your patience," they tweeted, alongside two new images.

In one, Owen McDonnell (Niko) - who is Eve's estranged husband - can be seen sitting outside, at a table and chairs.

Meanwhile, Sean Delaney (Kenny) can be seen surrounded by what looks like moving boxes.

But fans were *not* impressed that the show had replaced a trailer with photos.

One wrote: "You're kidding right?!", while another joked they were "suing for emotional damage".

Over the last few weeks, BBC has been teasing the return of the highly-anticipated show with a series of images and clips.

In one photo, Villanelle (Jodie Comer) can be seen in full clown costume alongside new character Felix (played by Stefan Iancu).

Meanwhile, MI6 agent, Eve (Sandra Oh) appears to have carved out a new career as a chef while other pictures show Villanelle starting a new life for herself in Barcelona.

Earlier this month, BBC dropped a brand new teaser which showed both leading actresses dressed head-to-toe in red, with psychopath Villanelle holding what appears to be some sort of scalpel.

During the 15-second clip - which gives fans a glimpse into what they might expect from Season 3 - Villanelle can be seen running the sharp tool across her lips before staring directly into the camera.

The clip then flashes between the two women before Villanelle can be seen holding up the scalpel. It's pretty terrifying.

Here's to hoping Killing Eve release the trailer ASAP - we can't wait much longer!
