Clear your evening of all plans immediately, because The Great Celebrity Bake Off hits screens tonight, and it's got an absolutely stellar cast.

In the first instalment of the Channel 4 show, which raises funds for Stand Up To Cancer, Louis Theroux, Ovie Soko, Russell Howard and Jenny Eclair will battle to win star baker, and maybe even a Paul Hollywood handshake.

What a dream quartet.

Fans went wild when they learnt that documentary legend Louis, 49, was going to star on the baking show, while Love Island heart-throb Ovie received an equally gushing reception.

So, thrown in with two hilarious comedians, we can only imagine the carnage that is going to ensue.

We were treated to a glimpse of all four of the celebs in action in a trailer earlier this month, in which Ovie, 29, can be seen joking about with Russell, 39, and pulling faces at his own cooking blunders.

We've got some comedy gold from Louis thrown into the mix, too, as he stares intently into his oven and quips: "I like it on Bake Off when they do this, it's like they really care".

Speaking ahead of his appearance on the much loved show, Louis said he decided to do it because he knew that his kids would get "a kick" out of it.

"Maybe I've been a bit precious about not doing TV that wasn't essential to my work," he says. "And I thought, 'I'm going to turn 50 next year, maybe I'll start saying yes to things that, in the past, I might have viewed as frivolous".

Basketball player Ovie said he was prompted to take part in the show after a team-mate lost his mother to early stage breast cancer.

"I saw how that affected him first-hand," he explains. "We lived together for years, so I know how it can affect people. I think we all have a role to play when there's something hits the world as hard as cancer does."

While Ovie is a big fan of Bake Off, his baking practice before the show didn't exactly go to plan.

"Mum wasn't back from work yet, and she came back to a lot of her baking equipment burnt," he goes on. "It was cupcakes, which sounds like it should have been easy, but I definitely burnt those.

Meanwhile, Jenny said she'd opted for the show to "put [her] money where [her] mouth is," after being a fan for years, while Russell admitted he'd never baked before accepting the Channel 4 gig.

"I find it more stressful trying to make vanilla slices in a tent than trying to make 15,000 people laugh in the O2," he jokes.

It's not just these stars competing throughout the series.

Also donning their pinnies are former EastEnders star Patsy Palmer, Oscar-winning actor Richard Dreyfuss, British tennis number one Johanna Konta, actress and presenter Caroline Quentin, TV judge Rob Rinder and The One Show presenter Alex Jones.

Plus - we're not done yet - comedians Joel Dommett and Mo Gilligan will be joined by This Morning's Alison Hammond, model Kelly Brook and none other than Queer Eye's Tan France in this year's cast, as they make an appearance in the famous tent.

While finally, YouTuber and Strictly star Joe Sugg will appear alongside Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffatt, The Inbetweeners actor James Buckley and Countdown legend Carol Vorderman.

We challenge you to top this lineup.

The Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up To Cancer returns to Channel 4 tonight at 8pm.
