Arya Stark Divides Fans In Latest 'Game Of Thrones' Episode

Throughout Game of Thrones, Arya Stark has grown from a girl, into a formidable woman. She's ruthless and she's killed her way through the Seven Kingdoms but she always makes sure that wrongs are turned right.

WARNING: GAME OF THRONES SPOILERS AHEAD

But while we've watched Arya grow up right before our very eyes, some fans have forgotten that she's now a young woman and of course, she has wants and needs.

Well, viewers certainly realised that after the latest episode where Arya gets intimate with Gendry.

There was heaps of sexual chemistry in the opening episode, but I don't think anyone was expecting the pair get it on so quickly. It's not hard to see why, the latest episode counts down to the most epic battles in Seven Kingdoms and TV history.

The characters are either bunkering down in relative safety or getting ready to fight.

Gendry gives Arya the dragonglass weapon she asked for and then asks him about his sexual history. It all seems like weird questioning until she tells him that they'll both probably die soon and she wants to know what it feels like to be with a man.

The reaction online has been very divided with some people cheering Arya on and others feeling a tad uncomfortable...

Can we take a moment to appreciate that Maisie Williams, the woman behind the iconic character, is in fact 22-years-old, and very much not a child.

But, if you think that's gross then you'll probably hate the idea that Game of Thrones author George R R Martin initially wanted Arya to fall for Jon Snow. While we're aware that there's a disturbing amount of incest going on in the show, I think we can all agree that would certainly be a step too far.
