It was the dating show that had us *hooked* from start to finish and now, Love Is Blind has started casting for its second season.
If you want to get engaged to the love of your life before having even met them, then listen up. Love Is Blind has been commissioned for not one but two more seasons and applications are now open.
The show shot to the number one slot on Netflix shortly after it began streaming in February and If you haven't already watched it, it'll make for the perfect lockdown binge-watch.
In fact, we're actually jealous of anyone who is yet to get addicted to it.
Here's how to apply...
To be in with a chance of appearing on the show, you first need to fill in an application. You'll need to input all your basic details, before listing your education history and linking to your social media accounts.
You'll also be asked to upload two photographs - one of your face as well as a full body shot.
Next up you'll be required to disclose more personal details, such as whether you've been married previously, if you have kids, how you would describe your current dating life as well as what your 'deal breakers' are (for example, long fingernails, bad breath etc).
You'll also need to describe your type and state what physical qualities you're not attracted to. Other questions include: "Tell us something we wouldn't know just by looking at you" and "what excites you about possibly finding the love of your life?"
Logistically, you'll also need to confirm you are willing and able to take three weeks off work and other commitments during production.
As we know, the contestants spend time in pods, getting to know each other before trying to forge a physical connection in the outside world.
The casting for Season 2 is taking place in Chicago and while it's reported that you must be a US resident to apply, creators have hinted that a UK version could be on the cards - although it's not confirmed or known when this might happen.
In the application form, you'll be asked if you are a US citizen. The form gives you the option of 'no', so it seems international applications are being accepted - potentially for a version of the show in another country? We hope so.
It seems the only condition of applying right now is that you must be aged over 21 and looking to meet, get to know and get engaged to someone you've *never* met before.
No biggie, then!
If this sounds like you, you can apply here. Good luck...
