The 37-year-old The Devil Wears Prada actress shared some behind-the-scenes clips with her 18.5 million Instagram followers, along with several teasers taken from the upcoming movie.
"Here's the think you need to know about witches," she says in the short video. "They're real. They're here, and they live amongst us."
The video goes onto explain some freaky facts about witches, including the fact they have hands and not claws, they don't have any toes, they all have large nostrils and are all bald underneath their wigs.

They also apparently have elongated mouths, and Anne showed off her enormous Joker-style grin in one scene which really gave us the creeps.
"What has a witch ever done to you? Stream #TheWitchesMovie in @hbomax October 22. Internationally in cinemas soon #WitchesAreReal," she wrote alongside the post.
Fellow co-stars Octavia Spencer, Jahzir Kadeem and Stanley Tucci featured in the clip alongside Anne, all looking suitably scary.

Fans have been taking to Anne's Instagram post to share their excitement about the upcoming release, with one saying: "sooo watching this!! Loved this story."
"Ohhhhh myyy gawwwwwddd yessss," said another.
Based on the Roald Dahl book of the same name, Anne Hathaway plays the role of the Grand High Witch, one which was originally played iconically by Anjelica Huston, as well as Octavia Spencer in role as the young boy's doting grandma.

Based on the children's book one the same name by Road Dahl, the 1990 dark fantasy comedy told the story of evil witches who masquerade as ordinary women and kill children.
The movie is being rebooted by Warner Bros and Forest Gump and Cast Away director Robert Zemeckis, while he and Kenya Barris write the script, with Jack Rapke, Alfonso Cuaron and Guillermo del Toro tagging on as producers.
