It's been a while since we got stuck into a good old horror - which is why we were excited to see Annabelle: Creation has dropped on Netflix UK - just in time for a Friday film sesh.

Anyone who has watched the freaky horror will know just how creepy it is. Do not watch alone, guys, you've been warned.

For those who haven't seen it - or can't quite remember the plot - here's a recap.

Annabelle: Creation is the prequel to the 2014 movie, Annabelle and the fourth film in the The Conjuring series.

This instalment focuses on dollmakers Mr and Mrs Mullins, who - years after their daughter Annabelle's death - adopt two children, Janice and Linda, from a local orphanage.

Annabelle's bedroom remains exactly how it was left before she died - despite 12 years having passed - and Janice and Linda are told they're strictly prohibited from entering the room, no matter what.

But when Janice wakes up in the middle of the night and finds a note reading 'find me!' she ventures into the eery bedroom.

Janice is spooked even more when she unlocks the bedroom closet to find a creepy doll, made even more terrifying when she later discovers a photograph of Annabelle holding the toy.

It soon becomes clear the doll is demented and possessed by a demonic force. Both Janice and then Linda become a target as the toy begins wreaking havoc on the family.

Expect *lots* of supernatural nighttime activity, plenty of freaky doll faces and watch-through-your-fingers moments.

The film - originally released in 2017 - is now available on Netflix UK. It's unknown how long the film will stay on the streaming platform, so get a movie night scheduled in if you do fancy watching it.

Prepare to scare yourselves silly! We can hardly wait.
