Angelina Jolie undergoes a magical transformation to become the Queen of Hearts in dark new fantasy movie Come Away - and is almost unrecognisable.

Set for release in the UK on 4th December 2020, the film combines the magical worlds of Peter Pan and Alice in Wonderland.

Directed by Brenda Champman (Brave), the film features a cast of big names.

Angelina and David Oyelowo star as Rose and Jack Littleton, the parents of Alice (Keir Chansa) and Peter (Jordan A. Nash).

The story follows eight-year-old Alice and her mischievous brother Peter as they let their imaginations run wild one long hot summer in the English countryside.

Encouraged by their parents, the kids enjoy make-believe tea parties and pirate ship adventures - but the games come to an abrupt end when tragedy strikes.

Eager to help their grieving, financially-struggling parents, Peter and Alice travel to London to sell a treasured heirloom.

Returning home, Alice seeks temporary refuge down a rabbit hole, while Peter escapes reality by entering a magical realm as leader of the "Lost Boys."

It's during Alice's time in the wondrous rabbit hole that Angelina's character transforms into the Queen of Hearts.

Pale faced, with auburn hair, and dressed in a high-neck white gown, the actress is almost unrecognisable.

Playing cards forms a heart shape around her, and her ornate white dress is splashed with a bright red heart.

The live-action fantasy signals Brenda Chapman return, eight years after directing the Disney Pixar animated adventure Brave.

"Who are these dirty vagabonds and what have they done with my children?" jokes Rose in the trailer.
