Woman Cancels Her Wedding To A Ghost After He Turned To Partying And Drugs
In news we never thought we'd hear, a woman has called off her wedding to a ghost because he fell in with a bad crowd and started partying too hard.
Amethyst Realm, who made headlines in 2017 when she declared she was finished with living men and would only be having relationships with ghosts, spoke with This Morning hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield about her recent break-up.
As it turned out, show guest Amethyst - who first announced her engagement to spirit Ray back in 2018 but worried she'd frightened him off with talk of babies - had decided not to get hitched to her ghostly beau.
Holly kicked off the chat by asking: "Last time we saw you, you were talking about how much you'd fallen in love. There was this proposal, and things were going really well. Where are you now?"
Amethyst replied: "We've called the wedding off. It was going really well until we went on holiday and that was about last May and then he completely changed."
She continued: "I think maybe he fell in with a bad crowd when we were on holiday. He just started becoming really inconsiderate, he'd disappear for long periods of time, when he did come back, he'd bring other spirits to the house and they'd just stay around for days."

Holly and Phil looked visibly perplexed and asked Amethyst what could be the reason for the changes in Ray's behaviour.
"I think he started doing drugs and partying a bit much," explained Amethyst.
"He used to come back and these spirits would stay for days at a time. There'd be crashing and banging and strange noises."
Phil then enquired as to whether Ray was "partying in the spirit world, or partying in this world".
"Well, he was partying in both, judging by him disappearing and then coming back to mine," concluded Amethyst.
Apparently, whether your lover is mortal or of the spirit world, it's important to have standards and set boundaries.
