American Horror Story obsessives, get hyped. A spin-off to the super successful anthology series is coming. YESSS.
The show's producer Ryan Murphy announced he was working on the AHS spin-off, titled American Horror Stories, consisting of "one-hour contained episodes", in an Instagram post.

His post showed a screengrab from the Zoom call to end all Zoom calls. Logged on were the show's key cast members, including Jessica Lange, Lily Rabe, Leslie Grossman, Finn Wittrock, Taissa Farmiga, Billie Lourd, Angelica Ross, Adina Porter Dylan McDermott, Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, Denis O'Hare, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Emma Roberts, and Cody Fern.
The producer wrote: "American Horror Story cast zoom call... where we reminisced about the good times... the spin off we're doing called 'American Horror Stories' (one hour contained episodes)...when we will start filming the next season of the mothership...and other stuff I cannot print. It was so much fun and I'm glad we caught up. I miss everyone!"
According to TV Line, the new series will also air on US channel FX and it'll likely come to Netflix soon after.
It comes just two months after the FX and Netflix series gave fans the first sneak peak at series 10 of the smash-hit series.
The poster showed a pair of hands clinging on to a muddy seaside verge for dear life, with the ocean visible in the background.

While we don't have an official air date for the next instalment of AHS, we know it's coming this year, and the show has debuted in September ever since season six, so it'll likely follow that same pattern.
While details are scarce on the spin-off, at least we have this to look forward to in the mean time. Eeek!
