A trailer for Sarah Paulson's upcoming film, Run has just been released and it looks *so* gripping.

Fans of American Horror Story - this is not one to be missed.

In the film, Sarah stars as Diane Sherman, who lives with her disabled teenage daughter, Chloe (played by newcomer Kiera Allen).

As Chloe's carer, Diane does everything for her 17-year-old daughter - who is also home schooled. But things take a drastic turn when the teenager, who Diane keeps isolated in the house, begins to realise her mum isn't all she seems.

The trailer kicks off with Diane waking up from a nightmare - which appears to be a flashback to Chloe's birth. It then jumps to present day, with Chloe in a stair lift and the pair eating together at the kitchen table.

All seems to be well, but things take a turn when Chloe tells her mum she "feels like a burden" and "wants to do more".

It's a suggestion Diane isn't keen on, explaining to Chloe: "I'm your mum, it's my job to take care of you when you need me. And you need me."

It seems Diane is hell bent on doing everything for her daughter. But when Chloe finds out her mum's original name isn't actually Diane Sherman, she begins to investigate.

Who is her mum? Why does she want to keep her locked up in the house? When Diane cuts off the internet, things take a nasty turn. Will Chloe be able to unveil the truth before it's too late?

While a UK release date is yet to be announced, the film will hit theatres in the US on 8th May - just in time for Mother's Day weekend in the States.

In other exciting entertainment news, American Horror Story fans will be pleased to know the show will run for at least three more seasons. The announcement was made earlier this year at the Television Critics Association winter press tour.

It seems Sarah Paulson will be appearing on our TV - and cinema - screens a *lot* more this year, which is very good news.
