We have some exciting news for American Horror Story fans - season 10 has begun filming which means we are one step closer to finding out the theme for the season.

Lily has appeared in every season of American Horror Story, and season 10 will be no exception. She spoke to Digital Spy on Tuesday, 1 December. "We start tomorrow", the actress told the website. "So I'll be driving to work at 5.30, I think, tomorrow morning."

The tenth chapter in Ryan Murphy's anthology series was delayed due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, just like many shows around the world. Season 10 was meant to start filming at the end of summer.

Lily did not reveal the theme for the upcoming season and refused to give away any details regarding the new episodes. When asked what she could reveal, Lily said: "I know there are things that have already been said that I can just say again, but you already know them. And there's nothing new that I can say. But I think it's going to be - I know it's going to be great. I'm really, really excited about it."

So far, Ryan has given fans a hint by revealing the gruesome poster. Posting on social media, Ryan shared a very creepy image of a mouth filled with razor sharp teeth and an 'AHS10' tattoo inked on the tongue.

Season 10 of the show is also set to bring a new famous face to the already impressive cast list, Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin.

In other Ryan Murphy related news, he also revealed the poster for the American Horror Story spin-off American Horror Stories.

He also gave fans a little teaser about what to expected from the show. "We are doing 16 one hour stand alone episodes delving into horror myths, legends and lore," he said.

"Many of these episodes will feature AHS stars you know and love. More to follow..."
