Forever seeking out your next reality dating show fix?

Well, prepare to get excited, because Amazon Prime just confirmed a brand-new eight-part immersive dating series - and the singles will be sent back to high school.

Yep, in the quest for love, a bunch of unlucky-in-love Brits will return to high school to try to find 'the one', only this time with a little more life experience on their side.

There's another twist, though. Participants won't be entering any old school, but instead the nostalgic world of 80s, 90s and 00s American High Schools that have inspired teen rom-coms.

Anyone else's brain flooded with visuals from flicks ranging from Never Been Kissed to Grease RN?

That means waving goodbye to quick-fix apps and all the possible pitfalls that come with them, from ghosting to catfishing.

Instead, the search for love in this programme will have all the tropes of the classic American high school experience, from taking a seat at the cafeteria, to homecoming, to cheer try-outs.

The diverse group of singletons, which includes individuals from the LGBTQ+ spectrum, will take on the challenges in a bid to find their prom king or queen - until one couple is crowned prom royalty in the season finale.

Oh, and did we mention that the show - which is produced by Studio Lambert - will be exec produced by Tim Harcourt, who's worked on popular shows The Circle and Tattoo Fixers.

Further details of the cast, official title and launch date are yet to announced - we'll update you as soon as we hear more!

"We are thrilled to be bringing this brand-new format to Prime Video," said Georgia Brown, Director of European Amazon Originals for Prime Video.

"We can't wait to see these singles immersed in an all-American High School experience, and cast them as the stars in their very own teen movie in the hope of them finding love!"

Prime members will be able to watch all episodes on the Prime Video app or online at www.amazon.co.uk/primevideo.
