Iconic British comedians Alan Carr and Graham Norton have been confirmed as the duo joining RuPaul and Michelle Visage for the highly-anticipated British spin-off of Drag Race, which will premiere on BBC Three later this year.

The pair, who both currently host their own BBC talk shows, were hot favourites for the coveted positions and will rotate positions on the judging panel just like their US counterparts Carson Kressley and Ross Matthews on the American series.

"Becoming part of the drag race family makes me ridiculously happy!" Graham announced in a video. "I can't wait to see what the UK drag queens bring to the party, but they better weeeeerk!"

And performing the most sickening deathdrop in HERstory, Alan also released an excited video to announce the news.

"Wow! To be sat next to Michelle Visage and Mama Ru as a guest judge on possibly one of my all-time favourite shows ever is a dream come true," Alan said. "I can't wait to see what the UK queens have got in store - it's going to be sickening!"

Ru said she was "both shocked and delighted" when Graham and Alan told the Emmy Award winning host that they would be "wearing tucking panties when sitting at the judges table."

Ru continued: "I told them it was not necessary, but they insisted. Now that's what I call dedication!"

Earlier this month, Drag Race veteran, Michelle Visage, was confirmed for the panel - although we never had any doubt she'd be joining BFF Ru - and she's made no secret of the fact that she loves the UK.

"We've been working tirelessly to bring the magic of RuPaul's Drag Race to my favourite city in the world: LONDON!" said Michelle.

"I KNOW the UK has a wealth of talent to offer and I'm thrilled beyond belief to see these queens battle it out on the main stage, UK style! GOD SAVE THE QUEENS!"

There's no word on guest judges yet, but Michelle told Gay Times last year that her dream celeb appearances would be Ab Fab duo Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley.

What we do know it that it's eight episode season with 60-minute long episodes.

Keep your eyes peeled for more information soon.
