A grisly tale about a murder at a wedding sounds like preserve of cheesy soap opera plots - but what if we told you these kind of blood-drenched nuptials do actually occur IRL?
A new series of A Wedding and a Murder on Sky is coming and its set to tell more unbelievable tales of weddings that have resulted in heinous crimes.

Like some sort of weird mashup between between Making A Murderer and Don't Tell The Bride, the episodes are described as "tales of wedded bliss gone wrong, where dream marriages turn into murder and mystery".
Landing on Sky Crime & NOW TV from 15th July, the documentary series will follow different stranger-than-fiction cases, like that of a beautiful Caribbean wedding which was disrupted by a murderous family feud over the wedding ring.

Other true crime stories include a rejected marriage proposal that leads to a suspicious death, and a Las Vegas wedding between a model and a motocross champion that triggers a sinister murder plot.
Told you these stores were wild!
The new bout of cases follows on from the first series which aired on Oxygen in 2018 and is currently available to watch on Amazon Prime.

Until it airs, there's another bizarre true crime series you need to watch based on passengers who went missing at sea.
Cruise Ship Killers tells the stories of people who didn't return home after embarking on what should have been the trip of a lifetime.
Since 2011, more than 200 passengers have gone missing or are presumed dead while staying aboard passenger ships.
This documentary delves into what happened to some of passengers and whether they were victims of foul play or freak accidents.
A Wedding and a Murder airs on Sky Crime & NOW TV from 15th July and Cruise Ship Killers is available on Crime+Investigation.
