The Sinner was the perfect combination of gruesomeness and mystery, so naturally fans couldn't wait when it was revealed a second series was on its way.
At the end of the series, Cora (Jessica Biel) finally discovered what led her to brutally stab someone to death right in the middle of the beach which seemed like a pretty solid conclusion.
Now, the official trailer for season two has just dropped, and it contains a familiar face - Detective Harry Ambrose, who worked tirelessly to get to the bottom of Cora's unusual case...
In the trailer, Harry is being dragged back to his hometown in rural New York after he's asked to help look into a very unsettling crime.

What is this crime, you ask? Parents murdered by their 11-year-old son, with no apparent motive. Yep, it's definitely not for the faint-hearted...
As Harry is drawn back into the darkness of his hometown, he realises there is nothing ordinary about the boy or the case he's embroiled in.
He's pitted against those who'll stop at nothing to protect its secrets - and a mysterious woman who proves to be a complicated, enigmatic piece to this haunting puzzle.
