Club Wyndham is hoping to spread the same Christmas cheer as the classic festive flick by transforming one of its properties into a fully immersive overnight stay.

The 2003 festive flick follows Will Ferrell's character Buddy as he tries to bring Christmas cheer to New York City, making hundreds of paper snowflakes and singing as often as he can.
Travellers of all ages will be transported into Buddy the elf's imaginative and over-the-top Christmas world when they book the one-bedroom suite at Club Wyndham, Midtown 45 in the Big Apple.
The vacation club suite features everything you need to have the perfect holiday experience, complete with hundreds of paper snowflakes, Buddy's favourite toys, plenty of sugary treats and more.
From the moment guests arrive, they will be greeted by the suite's front door, which is cheekily painted in the form of a green elf jacket.
That's only the beginning as the door then opens to the living and dining area filled with hundreds of paper snowflakes, popcorn and paper garlands hanging from the ceiling, while a towering Christmas tree beautifully decorated with golden ornaments centres the space.
In the kitchen, ribbons cover the cabinets and a full-size fridge is stocked with elves' four essential food groups - candy, candy canes, candy corn and maple syrup.
Guests will have everything they need to prepare a Buddy the elf-inspired meal in the suite's fully equipped kitchen, with treats including spaghetti, marshmallows, chocolate sauce, Pop Tarts, rolls of cookie dough, M&Ms and, of course, litres, upon litres of Coca-Cola.
The Christmas cheer continues into the suite's bedroom and bathroom, while guests of all ages can also enjoy some of Buddy's favourite toys, including a Lego replica of the Empire State building and Etch A Sketches.
"Every detail of this Elf-inspired suite was designed to put families in awe from the moment they walk in," said Noah Brodsky, chief brand officer for Wyndham Destinations.
"Visiting New York City during the holidays is at the top of many travellers' bucket list, and Club Wyndham wants to help our owners check that list off in a spectacular way.
"We think there's no better way to do it than to get families immersed into Buddy the Elf's whimsical Christmas world."
Guest who reserve a festive stay at the Elf suite can also follow Buddy's steps throughout the city with complimentary admission for up to four people to the Empire State Building and tickets to the Rockefeller Center ice skating rink.
The Elf-inspired holiday suite sleeps up to four guests, and reservations will be available to book starting November 25, for stays beginning 2nd December.
The suite is available for the general public to book a stay until 20th December. But Club Wyndham members will be able to book the room from 21st December to 26th December.
The cost of the suite begins at £309 ($399) per night.
