New Mobile Game Lets You Stay At Home And Play With Your Cats

Sometimes nothing sounds more appealing than lounging at home all day with the cat, doing a spot of cooking and generally mooching about.

But when your life is busy, days like these are a rarity.

Introducing Adorable Home: the new virtual reality mobile game that has millions of people hooked.

The free game, made by HyperBeard, is a little like Sims, but way less high-tech, and designed to be a "passive and relaxing experience".

The idea is that you move into a house in the suburbs with your partner (whose gender you can customise), but when they go to work, you stay behind and chill with your little kitty, Snow.

Of course, if you're relaxing at home all day, you've got to do a few bits and bobs around the house. Perhaps some cleaning, cooking or interior decorating...

But the better you do at all these jobs, the more love you receive from your parter and Snow. And in this game, 'love' is currency, so it's pretty essential.

If you rank up enough, you're even able to buy furniture, home decor and more cats! The fun really does never end.

The idea isn't to spend hours on end in your virtual home.

In fact, even popping into the game once every few hours to spruce things up is a great way to accumulate the 'love'.

However, some fans have warned that it's easy to get seriously hooked.

Sharing a picture of their virtual abode, one person wrote: "Help i think i'm obsessed #AdorableHome".

While another added: "I don't get addicted to games easily. But when I do... Lol. Here's my #AdorableHome flex."

"Hooked to this #AdorableHome game & excited to introduce my visitors in my lounge area," a third person tweeted.

A fourth chipped in: "Just downloaded the #AdorableHome game from @HyperBeard If you're looking for an easy, relaxing game to have on your phone, I'd recommend it!".

If you want to join in on the fun, the game is currently available to download on iPhone and android. While it might seem like a children's game, HyperBeard warns that it's actually for adults, and may contain "some content that is inappropriate for children under the age of 13".
