Even though Friends ended almost 17 years ago, fans are still discovering new things about the beloved sitcom today.
The most recent revelation is a connection between Friends and the iconic musical extravaganza, Dirty Dancing.
Yep, Jennifer Grey, who plays Baby Houseman in Dirty Dancing made a guest appearance in Friends and fans of the show are shocked.
Jennifer appears in the twentieth season one episode, titled The One With the Evil Orthodontist. She plays Rachel's former best friend Mindy.

Rachel starts dating ex-fiancé Barry again in this episode, despite the fact he is engaged to her former BFF Mindy!
When Mindy says she and Barry had an affair while Rachel was engaged to Barry, Rachel finally confesses to Mindy that she has been sleeping with Barry; the two women confront him, though Mindy still wants to marry Barry.
Yikes!
While you add the episode to your queue on Netflix, Mindy appears once again in an episode during the second season, in the episode The One with Barry and Mindy's Wedding, where she and Barry get married.

Unfortunately, Grey was reportedly unavailable to play Mindy a second time so the role was played by Jana Marie Hupp instead.

Maggie Wheeler, who plays the character in the sitcom, was also in the childhood classic and fans only just realised.
In The Parent Trap, Maggie played a camp counsellor, and she actually features quite a few times, including when Hallie sets up a series of traps in Annie's cabin.

With The Parent Trap being released in 1998, Maggie actually played Marva Jr around the same time she was playing Chandler's iconic love interest in Friends - which ran from 1994 to 2006.
