S Club 7 could be set to reunite after 20 years - and this is the 2020 news we need!

The band - including Tina Barrett, Rachel Stevens, Jo O'Meara, Jon Lee, Hannah Spearitt, Bradley McIntosh and Paul Cattermole - could even be releasing new music, having been inspired by Steps' successful reunion this year.

Speaking to The Sun, Tina confirmed the news, explaining: "We definitely want to do something new together. We're all older now so we could do something that reflects how we are now - not such a teeny-bopper sound, something more credible.

"Looking at a band like Steps who are quite similar, they've done new music and they've done incredibly well. We'd be silly not to. Everyone really enjoyed the last reunion so this time around everyone's more up for it."

Tina even revealed everyone is on board - it's simply just a case of scheduling.

"I've chatted to pretty much everyone and I think we're all up for it. So it's just about getting it in the diary. I'm pretty sure it will happen,' she added.

This certainly sounds promising!

After parting ways in 2003, the band first reunited for an appearance on Children In Need back in 2014 before reuniting again for a 15th anniversary tour in 2015.

These days, Tina has recently released a solo single, while Jo is also working on new music. Meanwhile, Rachel has been performing at Proud Embankment in London and Hannah has just welcomed her second child!

But this could be the first time the band will release new music, and if it's anything like their previous hits - including Never Had A Dream Come True, Bring It All Back, S Club Party and Reach - they'll be mega popular.
