We've been longing for a third instalment of Mama Mia! since the moment we saw the sequel.
So, when the musical's creator Judy Craymer revealed recently that it is actually supposed to be a franchise, you'd better believe we threw on our dancing shoes and got the popcorn ready.
Now, further fuelling the rumour mill, Amanda Seyfried has revealed that she and the rest of the cast would all sign up to another film "in a heartbeat".

It's looking even more promising, guys!
"Listen, every single person in that movie would say yes in a heartbeat because we want to hang out with each other," the 34-year-old actress told Collider.
"That's what we talked about last time, like did we ever think that we'd end up here again on an Island in Croatia?"

Amanda went on to express concerns over the amount of ABBA songs left to sing, suggesting this could get in the way of another movie.
"So yeah, I wish there was a Mamma Mia 3, but I'll tell you what - I've said it before and I'll say it again and I hope I'm wrong again," she added.
However, the good news is creator Craymer is less worried about the lack of fresh music, revealing to the Daily Mail that there were four more un-unused ABBA songs written by Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus for their virtual concert with Agnetha Faltskog and Anni-Frid Lyngstad, which she hoped would make their way into a movie.

All but confirming the third instalment was going ahead at some point, the writer added that she had dedicated lockdown to conceptualising the project, but let "Covid-fog" get in the way.
She went on to tease: "I know Universal would like me to do it".
So, the production company want to do it, the cast want to do it and the creator wants to do it....

You know what this means, guys!
