Cool techno nights and sceney drum and bass gigs are great and all, but sometimes all we want to listen to is good old fashioned pop music, without judgement.

Without a doubt the pioneers in popular music compilations were NOW That's What I Call Music!, which is why we're beyond thrilled the brand is launching a series of club nights across the UK.

Now THAT's what we call incredible news.

NOW Club Nights will launch initially at The Scala in London and at the O2 Ritz in Manchester, with more dates being added for venues across the country later in 2020.

The event promises "nothing but massive tunes" spanning the 80s, 90s, 00s and 10s, exclusively sourced from the Now That's What I Call Music! discography which was first started way back in 1983.

Early bird tickets for London cost £8 plus booking fees, while the Manchester night will cost you just £7 plus fees.

The first night begins in Manchester on 25th January 2020, with multiple dates following on after that.

It will launch initially at The Scala in London and at the O2 Ritz in Manchester. (

Dave Fawbert and Brian Mahoney, co-founders of club night Ultimate Power, who are promoting the night alongside Starstruck Live, said: "NOW That's What I Call Music is, quite simply, one of the most iconic and trusted brands in music history.

"Everyone remembers their first NOW and the way that, across 40 odd tracks, it gave you the biggest bangers of the day across every genre out there; opening your horizons as you fell, uncontrollably, in love with music.

"They are a greatest hits of everyone's greatest hits: and what could be better than a club night that celebrates these songs? We want everyone to have the same wondrous feeling when they step into a NOW Club Night as they did when they listened to their very first NOW album."

Dave Fawbert is also responsible for Swiftogeddon, a night dedicated entirely to Taylor Swift.

The Shake It Off singer herself even appeared to approve, commenting on a Swiftogeddon Tumblr saying: "WHAT!!!!! This is amazing!!!!"
