Exciting news for all you Spice Girls fans out there - Melanie C has hinted at another reunion tour next year, so fingers crossed it's going to go ahead!

Speaking on Lorraine, 46-year-old Mel brought hope that we'd once again see Geri, Mel B, Ema Bunton and maybe even Victoria Beckham on stage together once more, after revealing hey all (san Posh) had the most "incredible" time when they did a nationwide arena tour last year.

Host Lorraine Kelly said: "Next year, 25 years, quarter of a century, I can't even believe I'm saying that!

"You have to do a reunion and you've got to get Miss Victoria [Beckham] involved as well, because the nation demands it."

To which Mel replied: "I know, it would be rude not to! We had the most incredible year last year, playing stadiums all across the UK and Ireland.

Next year marks the 25th anniversary of The Spice Girls (

"And we have got to do it again, we talk about it all the time.

"Of course, this year has thrown everything into chaos, big artists that were planning to perform this year will move to next year.

"So sadly it probably will delay the Spice Girls getting back on stage, but I'm doing everything in my power to make that happen."

Mel C broke the news while talking to Lorraine (

Melanie also added that she thought it would be the perfect time for the girl band's impressive story to become a blockbuster, and we couldn't agree more.

"I think it's the perfect time, really," she said.

"When you look back at last year, the nostalgia - so many people came to the shows and they were reliving their childhood.

Geri will be joining the reunion tour if it goes ahead (

"I think the music and the story of the Spice Girls, the beginnings of it, everything that happened in between, I think it's perfect subject matter for one of those movies."
