90s kids, get ready to feel super nostalgic, because Avril Lavigne is making a comeback.

Yep, the 'Sk8er Boi' hitmaker we all jammed to throughout our teens is heading to Europe next year and it's going to bring back all the memories.

Until recently, Avril had been taking a five year hiatus - but she recently begun performing her sixth album Head Above Water around the US.

And it's safe to say that her music comeback has gone down a treat...doing so well, in fact, that she's now confirmed she's coming to Europe in March.

She's headed to a whole string of cities, including Milan, Brussels, Offenbach, Amsterdam, Vienna and Zurich in March.

She's also heading to Paris, Berlin, Cologne and Munich in the same month.

Then, her London date will be on April 1st at Brixton Academy, before she heads to the Manchester Apollo to play on the 2nd.

Tickets will be for sale at 9AM on Friday October 18, and are available from the Live Nation website.

Speaking to Live Nation, Avril said: "We had the most amazing time performing on the US Head Above Water Tour!! I can't believe how quickly it went by. Seeing all your faces each night and feeling your energy was exactly what I needed.

"I truly missed being up on stage, singing with you and this has brought me so much happiness which is why I'm even more excited to announce that I'll be taking the Head Above Water Tour worldwide next year with dates in Europe, Japan, China and Southeast Asia!"

Avril released her sixth album back in February - her first work since her self titled album from back in 2013.

She became famous for smash hit singles such as 'Complicated' and 'I'm With You' in 2002, before changing her vibe and releasing cheerier tune 'Girlfriend' in 2007.

The singer's time away from the spotlight was largely due to her battle with Lyme disease and as a result, £2 from every ticket sold will be donated to The Avril Lavigne Foundation, in order to support other people suffering from it.

We'd better dig out our black eyeliner and chains on again!
