There's Going To Be A 'Greatest Showman' Sing Along Today

There's Going To Be A 'Greatest Showman' Sing Along Today

We can't wait to have a good old sing song.

If you're working from home today, you might just want to take a late lunch break, because an entertainment company is putting on a The Greatest Showman sing-a-long live!

Pop Up Princesses, which specialises in supplying and creating entertainment - from theatre productions to party pieces and cruise ship shows - is today at 2pm putting on the greatest show live on its Facebook feed here.

We're expecting a Hugh Jackman lookalike (or the real Hugh Jackman would be ideal but unlikely) and lots of the catchy tunes from the film, including 'A Million Dreams', 'The Greatest Show', 'Rewrite The Stars' and 'This Is Me'.

It's the perfect opportunity to sing the lyrics at the top of our lungs - sorry neighbours, but we need to get all this pent up energy out.

Plus don't be embarrassed, as Greatest Showman P.T. Barnum says: "No-one ever made a difference by being like everyone else".

The company said on a Facebook announcement post: "LADIES AND GENTS THIS IS THE MOMENT YOU'VE WAITED FOR!

"Tomorrow at 2pm we are bringing to you a LIVE and FREE Greatest Showman Sing-a-long! From A Million Dreams to This Is Me, we will cover them all!

"LIVE singing for your little ones to enjoy!"

They did say little ones, but we are so joining in on our lunch break, so get ready for us Pop Up Princesses. It's just 25 minutes long too, so the perfect amount of respite time.

The virtual show isn't a one-off from the company, though. Whilst their actors and performers can't get out and about due to coronavirus isolation, each day at 2pm they are putting on a form of entertainment for families.

This week saw the likes of a Frozen quiz, a superhero workout, a ballet class and story time with Belle from Beauty and the Beast, but each week the schedule and characters will change to keep everyone interested. Sounds like there'll be something fro everyone from toddlers to adults.

But today's sing-a-long is just hours away, so get ready to tune in on Facebook at 2pm and warm up that singing voice ready. We cannot wait.

As they say...the show must go on!
