Google is known for its informative, fun and interactive celebrations of special anniversaries and key dates in history with its 'doodles' .

But the search engine has gone one further for Friends' 25th anniversary by planting secret Easter eggs on each of the six main characters search pages - and it's certainly keeping us entertained at work.

Yes, Google has truly pulled out all the stops for the anniversary of the hit sitcom landing on our screens way back in 1994 with some majorly fun clickables.

To enjoy, simply Google any of the show's six main characters - Ross Geller, Rachel Green, Phoebe Buffay, Joey Tribbiani, Chandler Bing or Monica Geller - and you'll spot a little icon to the right of the screen under their Wikipedia images relating to the character.

For instance, Ross' is a sofa reminiscent of his infamous "PIVOT!" scene, Rachel's her signature hairdo', Phoebe's a guitar, Joey's a slice of pizza, Chandler's his much-loved Lazy Boy, and Monica's a cleaning bucket.

Click on to the character's icons and something fun will happen, including the screen slanting for Ross, a rendition of 'Smelly Cat' for Phoebe and an archive of Rachel's iconic 'do, 'The Rachel', when you click on her icon.

We won't give them all away - but you can watch them in the video above if you like.

Friends' official anniversary is on Sunday (22nd) marking 25 years since the first episode, 'The Pilot', was aired.

And the anniversary isn't passing quietly with brands far and wide celebrating a quarter of a century of the sitcom.

Just this week Ralph Lauren released its Friends-themed capsule collection to celebrate the anniversary, featuring pieces heavily influenced by Rachel Green who famously worked as an executive for the brand in the show.

The collection features sophisticated cashmere turtleneck jumpers, crisp white shirts, knee-high leather boots, smart work trousers.

Primark also got involved back in June when it opened a Friends-themed café in its Manchester branch complete with Central Perk-style comfy orange sofa and exposed brick walls.

To add to that, FriendsFest (running now from 2nd August to the 29th September) revealed it was planning on going bigger and better than ever to mark the important date. You can still get tickets for the winter edition (28th November to 21st December) here.

Could we BE any more excited?!
