At this point of lockdown, our root situation has passed the stage of critical. In fact, our regrowth is now so bad we're a strand way from throwing in the towel and living life as a full-fledged brunette.
Currently, we're trying any product possible to feign fresh roots, and Olivia Bowen seems to have found a good one.
The reality TV star, 26, shared a pretty good tip for covering roots over on Instagram, and it involves a product costing just £3.
Olivia posted a tutorial of her using Batiste Dry Shampoo and a Hint of Colour for Blondes on her dark roots and the spray product - which contains some subtle honey blonde colouring - appeared to do a pretty good job.

"As I've not been able to visit my hairdresser, I've been looking for something to disguise my root regrowth until I can have my hair highlighted again!," she wrote on Instagram.
"My go-to product at the moment is the Batiste Dry Shampoo and a Hint of Colour for Blondes which not only lightens my dark roots against my blonde ends, but refreshes my hair in-between washes as well as adding body and texture!"

In the video, Olivia, who is married to Alex Bowen who she met on Love Island, parted her short blonde bob into two sections and started by curling one side before applying the dry shampoo to her roots.
Olivia, who is an ambassador for Batiste, then completed the look on the other.
While we're heading down the hairdressers the SECOND we get the chance, this might be a good temporary alternative.

After all, they'll be none the wiser over Zoom anyway...
