You Can Now Buy A ‘Stranger Things’ Monopoly Set

If like us, you've been spending many hours of lockdown cracking on with jigsaw puzzles and board games, then listen up.

The classic board game we know and love has had a total 80s overhaul, with players able to choose from eight silver counters including a bicycle, a camera, a television set and a trainer - as well as an 'upside down' version of each.

The likes of Mayfair and Park Lane have also been replaced with locations including the The Void, the Demogorgon Nest, Joyce's Wall, Hopper's House and Mike's Basement.

The most expensive location is, of course, The Upside Down and Hawkins Laboratory.

Meanwhile, the stations from the classic Monopoly game have been replaced with other modes of transport. These are the classic Stranger Things bikes, Joyce's car, Hopper's patrol car and Hawkins power and light van.

There's also 'walkie talkie' and 'flashing lights' cards (as opposed to the chance and community chest in the traditional version) as well as The Quarry and Hawkins Power and Light serving as utilities.

The board itself looks like it's stepped straight out of Stranger Things with Mike, Dustin, Nancy, Lucas, Joyce and Hopper plastered in the centre.

It's certainly a lockdown must for every Stranger Things fan - and it's been receiving rave reviews online.

One mega fan wrote: "Absolutely excellent, a great spin on the normal monopoly, in fact, i'd rather play this version than any other version ever again!

"I'm a very big stranger things fan, and this is a great gift for the recommended ages, for any fan, for a birthday, Christmas, random gift, even valentines day if you are so inclined, or even if you just want to treat yourself!

"If you are thinking of purchasing and haven't yet, i would say go for it! I love it that much, i'd purchase a second just to not even open!"
