Aldi Vows To Stop Selling White Jeans After Sharon Mocks Them On Love Island

They do need to get in the bin, to be fair.

Love Island is back (at last!) and we're ready to become utterly obsessed with our Islanders all over again.

And our new group of OG Islanders are already hilarious, with Sharon Gaffka already establishing herself as a firm favourite among us girls for speaking the truth about one thing we've all come to hate - white jeans.

You can watch the video below.

Before coupling up with the boys on Monday night's episode, Love Island host Laura Whitmore asked the girls about some of their turn-offs, to which Sharon replied: "White jeans and an ego."

Amid the other girls' hysterics, civil servant Sharon continued: "It takes a type of guy to pull [white jeans] off, and every type of guy I see in white jeans bring an ego.

"It's just a no from me."

Of course, Sharon's frank admission was popular on Twitter, with many of us girls being thankful for her to say what we've all been thinking.

"I respect Sharon for speaking up about the white jeans issue early on," one fan wrote, while a second added: "To be honest I'm just glad someone finally said it about the white jeans."

In a twist probably no-one ever saw coming, Sharon's dislike for white jeans saw Aldi think twice about their summertime range.

The bargain supermarket, who was involved in all the Love Island banter on Twitter last night, wrote: "*Scraps white jeans from next Aldi Mania launch*", followed by an awkward jaw-clench emoji.

The news that white jeans are literally an abomination may come as a surprise to some of the boys in the villa, especially as white jeans are Love Island staples.

No more of this, please, lads (

OG Love Island fans will remember a low point on the series, in which season 3 stars Kem Cetinay, Chris Hughes and Dom Lever all wore the same khaki top and white skinny jeans during one evening.

We salute Sharon for killing the white jeans discourse once and for all.
