Vanessa Bauer Breaks Silence After Megan Barton-Hanson's 'Dancing On Ice' Dig

Dancing On Ice professional skater Vanessa Bauer has broken her social media silence after Megan Barton-Hanson accused her of tactically breaking up with her boyfriend of over two years ahead of her debut on the ITV show on Sunday.
Vanessa, who is partnered with Megan's boyfriend Wes Nelson on the show, took to Instagram to share a string of images of her on the ice, presumably skating away from all the drama.
While she didn't address the Love Island's accusations within her caption, she did make reference to women empowering other women in the hashtags.
In the aftermath of Megan's scathing post, Vanessa wrote: "Because whenever I'm on the ice everything is good again. I'm so grateful for yesterday's voting window number.
"There is nothing in the world I am more passionate about and that makes me happier than figure skating ! Last nights number was an absolute dream [sic]."
Finishing off her positive post, the Dancing On Ice pro added: "I can't thank everybody enough for all the love and support #strongwomen #DancingOnIce #womenempowerment."
The 22-year-old skater dated circus performer Louis Nathaniel for two and a half years, but it was revealed that the pair had split at the weekend, and Megan appeared to find the timing of the announcement suspicious.
In a now-deleted post shared on her Instagram story, Megan wrote: "@vanessbauer_skates love that you decide to announce your break up with your boyfriend on the night of your first performance with my boyfriend!
"You've never reached out to me once or invited me to watch you train, it pained you to introduce yourself to me last night you didn't even look me in the eye LOL!
"Hope the tactical break up got you the headlines you wanted babe."
