It seems like now that Winter has arrived, the summer of love has officially come to an end as Love Island stars are breaking up left right and center. I can't deal with all this heartbreak! First Chris and Liv looked like they were 'seeing other people', then Rykard and Rachel from last year announced their split, followed by Kem and Amber. WHERE IS THE LOVE, PEOPLE?!
Rachel Fenton and Rykard Jenkins may have only been in the Island for a short time when they appeared on the show last year, but they are definitely one of the most memorable. We all remember when Caroline Flack outed Rykard for SLEEPING with Olivia Buckland in the bed next to Rachel. They somehow managed to salvage and continue a long relationship after he did that (and she must be a saint for forgiving him because I know I couldn't have.) Followers of the reality stars were convinced they'd split after Rachel posted a series of 'cryptic' tweets, but she confirmed the end of the relationship in an official post on her Twitter account. She wrote: "Rykard and I are no longer together, we have decided to go our separate ways but I wish him all the best with his future."
Fans wondered whether or not Rykard had cheated on Rachel considering she posted that she was 'physically shaking with anger' the day before. However, Rykard has now spoke out about his ex, and claimed that he hasn't cheated, it's actually Rachel that's 'not been fully honest'.
He reportedly replied to a message asking whether or not he'd cheated, saying: "No babe. She secured her thing with some 40+ year old in New York for two nights and is also moving in with him. So that's why I'm not bothered."
I can't handle anymore heartbreak from the Islanders. SOMEONE BUBBLE WRAP CAMILLA AND JAMIE IMMEDIATELY.
