Stacey Dooley Speaks Out Over Claims She's Dating Strictly Pro Kevin Clifton

The presenter danced her way to victory with Kevin in December, while boyfriend Sam Tucknott cheered her on from the sidelines. However, in true Strictly style, when Stacey and Sam parted ways shortly after the show, rumours claimed she was dating Kevin.

Over the weekend those rumours were sent into overdrive when Sam claimed the dancing partners had been dating in secret for some time, after he allegedly found a text from Kevin saying "I love you," on Stacey's phone.

However, Stacey has since spoken out insisting that what's circulating on social media is "utter nonsense."

"Anyone with any adult life experience knows there are 2 sides to every story," she wrote on Twitter.

"I haven't got the time or energy to correct some of the utter nonsense I've read on here."

Addressing her ex directly, she continued: "Re Sam, I loved him v much and only wish him happiness and success going forward."

Sam is said to have laid all the blame on Kevin, telling The Sun: "He's an absolute rat.

"I was getting my stuff to leave. Stacey was in the loo. Her phone went and it was Kevin Clifton - 'I love you' with a red love heart.

"I grabbed the phone and confronted her. She said she'd tell me everything I needed to know."

Afterwards, Stacey is said to have called Sam to admit she'd fallen for Kevin - but only after her relationship with Sam had already ended.

But, like Stacey said, there's certainly two sides to every story.
