Kylie Minogue Is 'Engaged' To Paul Solomons

We actually have some happy showbiz news for you for a change - Kylie Minogue is engaged...apparently!

The 52-year-old singer (and all-round legend) has reportedly said yes GQ Creative Designer Paul Solomons, 46, with the couple first becoming official in 2018.

And while the pair have kept their relationship on the down-low, speculation has been fraught as to whether they were going to tie the knot.

The rumour mill then went into overdrive when I Hate Suzie star Billie Piper seem to confirm speculation when she mentioned Kylie's "fiancé" in a recent interview with Elle.

And now, the happy news has been confirmed by none other than Paul's stepmother Gloria.

Speaking to the Mail Online from her home in South Wales, Gloria, who has been married to Paul's dad Mark for over 40 years, explained: "[Kylie is] very nice, I'm thrilled they're engaged. It's very exciting.

"But, I'm sorry, I cannot tell you anymore because I've been told not to. I respect my son and I respect Kylie too much to say any more."

However, an almighty spanner has seemingly been thrown into the works after a rep for Kylie told The Sun the pair weren't planning their nuptials after all.

"It's not true. They are happy as they are," a spokesperson said to the newspaper.

Kylie has previously dated her former Neighbours co-star Jason Donovan, as well as French film actor Olivier Martinez and Spanish model Andrés Velencoso.

Her previous relationship to British actor Joshua Sasse saw the pair also get engaged, but they suddenly split in 2017.

The Love At First Sight songstress has spoken lovingly about her relationship with Paul.

Speaking on ITV's Lorraine in November, she said of her boyfriend: "He is so nice. He is probably not watching, I am sure he is at work.

"He is such a good support. We have a laugh. We have both been through enough in our lives and just met at the right time, so it's lovely.

"Yeah I did [get a magical feeling] actually. Maybe not quite like a romance novel, where there are butterflies and stars start shooting through the air! But yeah, definitely.

'All my friends said to me, 'You were acting different.' And that's when I knew that there was something. Because I thought I was acting cool but maybe I wasn't."
