The gorgeous snaps were taken my Kate Middleton as the youngster played in the garden of their Anmer Hall home in Norfolk.
Most notable is how much resemblance Prince Louis bears to his older siblings, Prince George, aged five, and Princess Charlotte, aged three.
Louis, whose full name is Prince Louis Arthur Charles, was born on St George's Day, 2018, at 11.01am, weighing 8 lbs 7oz.
The young prince made his first public appearance shortly afterwards when the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge proudly showed him off on the steps of the Lindo Wing of St Mary's Hospital in Paddington, London, just a few hours after he was born.
Prince Louis, like many infants, is said to be an active child, as Kate revealed he loves "bombing around" on his walker.
During a visit to a children's centre last month, she told a fellow parent: "He just wants to pull himself up all the time. He's got these little walkers and is bombing around on them."
Kate is a keen photographer, and has snapped most of the official photos released by the palace, including one taken of Louis just days after he was born.
Another showed his older sister Charlotte planting a kiss on her youngest sibling as he slept. It was a similar photo to when George was photographed cuddling Charlotte shortly after she arrived.
In December Kensington Palace shared a rare candid snap of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge with their three young children.
The relaxed photograph showed Kate and Prince William posing in Woodland with Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis being held in his mum's arms.
It was used on Kensington Palace's Christmas cards, in Prince Louis' first Christmas after being brought into the world in the previous April.
