Piers Morgan has revealed he's still "technically" married to Paris Hilton after the pair got wed in Las Vegas for a noughties TV show.

The host made the revelation during Good Morning Britain where he left Perez Hilton and Susanna Reid in shock.

"She's still my wife technically. We got married in Vegas for a TV show. True story, there's video of it," he told them.

Piers recalled: "We had an Elvis lookalike, a Frank Sinatra lookalike, a Marilyn Monroe lookalike. She wore a beautiful bridal gown, brought a dog with her, I got to kiss the bride, we exchanged rings."

Married to Celia Walden IRL, Piers added jokingly: "My actual wife was a little bit bemused."

The pair got 'married' during an episode of Piers Morgan On... in which the TV host demonstrated how easy it was to get married in Vegas.

Luckily, Piers revealed he nuptials weren't actually legally binding before fans accuse him of bigotry!

"I have a lot of understanding, I still feel wronged and hurt but I let go of that because how long are you going to hold onto that? I wish her well."

Hilton and Gaga were close friends in the 2000s but their friendship came to an end in 2011.

Later, Gaga accused Perez of "stalking" her, publicly tweeting him after went to view an apartment to rent in her New York building.

He went on: "I used to view her as more than a friend, I would call her my wifey. So when we stopped being friends, it was like a husband and wife breaking up. It made me question everything like, was she using me?

"When I was young, I was dumb and I naively believed that celebrities wanted to be friends with me.

"There are some friends where there wasn't a big falling out, it was just difficult to maintain the friendship like Adele or the late Amy Winehouse."
